Would you all like a downloadable .pdf Simon's building tutorial?

Hey all,

I was wondering if you would like a pdf like the ones you get from MR. 3 columns, with the images placed, with captions ect… WHY? I just felt like It’d be nice, since Simon went through the troble of doing it.

Let me know, and then how I’d get it to you… Moderator can you help?

Dan,

I think you need to ask permission from the author first. (You can either e-mail or PM him privately.) And, perhaps, Simon should be the one to distribute the document to those who are interested. That doesn’t mean you can’t be involved in the process somehow.

Tom

oh yeah, I didn’t mean to pry or try to take credit. Actually I didn’t think Simon would want the task. It was more of a supportive angle I guess. Nice Job on the tutorial Simon!

Dan,

I took it only that you meant to make Simon’s tutorial more readily available to others. Even so, Simon should be contacted with the idea, since it is his material. It’s also out of common courtesy, too.

Tom

[:I] Dan, thanks, I really did not consider this publication worthy. Actually, if it were to be made into a PDF I believe that it would need some elaborating. One of the advantages of this type of web based forum format is that others chip in with ideas and suggestions which leads to a better more rounded presentation. If you want access to the tutorial without all the fluff it is on my Picture Trail site at http://www.PictureTrail.com/gid19980162

Simon

Nice job. Very well done and weathering is great.

Nice work Simon

Nice little kit also

Simon,

What buildings I’ve done so far have been plastic kits. I keep telling myself that I want to try a laser cut kit. Your tutorial helps a lot in understanding some great weathering techniques. Thanks!
