Yeah but I really hate the narrow text window, one third of my screen is eaten up by all the poopie on the left side, I sure hope they move it to the header on the top of the page, also the images are now smaller? and dont expand when you click on them? thats progress eh? [B)]
That’s interesting Vic. The thumbnails of the pics are now about twice the size for me now (running Win2k and Firefox 2.0.0.16). Though when I click to enlarge, it does but resizes the window and knocks it to the right. I noticed the view counter is not working. Ditto on the squished text column. All the ads are in the right column for me though. I’m not crazy about the colors either. The blue/black is a bit harsh.

Vic: What browser are you using? On my screen the “poopie” stuff is to the right. As far as the pix go, it looks to me like if you post a small pix you get a small pix, If you post an extra large pix you see a large thumbnail in the box, if you click on the box just above the pic (the one with the warning that this is a large pix) it opens another window with a full size copy of the pic in question.

Well… Speaking as a person who runs his office from a dedicated 144Mb dish on the roof and has a dedicated 20Mb line to his desktop in the middle of Lincolnshire -all I can say is that I find it deathly slow… The page loads in (typically) 11 seconds. I think that some severe thought needs to be given to the amount of JPEGS et al that are plastered about the page as I have counted at least 20 of them… regards ralph

I finally went to DSL about a year and a half ago and dumped that for cable shortly after. I really have no complaints with Comcast.
I’m happy copy/paste still work’s and once I download spelllllckecj I will stop looking dumber then I is.

I have emailed Bergie about how s l o w the new forum is im hoping that he can take out some of the stuff we dont need, over my side of the pond we get probs with the smileys if useing BT internet you can not resize the box to see all of them. If using explorer 7 you can see all of them but they are all over the place and you can not sort them out. But its early days im sure Bergie will sort it out.
