Thanks for starting us off Motley. Nice scene you have there.
Sunset in the pass:
That’s a beautiful scene, Motley. An outstanding scene and photo, Bruce.

Here is a potpourri of cars for your perusal that I have just finished and dull coated.
Eastern Car Works Depressed Center Flatcar, lettered with a discontinued Champ Decal, decal was discontinued over 30 years ago, I managed to find one on E-Bay this year!
Front Range ACF Boxcar with 8’ Door. Lettered with Herald King Decals. These cars were eventually rebuilt into XLI Boxcars for Campbell’s Soup business from the Napoleon, OH Cannery.
Eastern Car Works Single Bay Airslide Covered Hopper, lettered with Micro Scale decal
Thanks for looking! :[swg]

GP7 A and B units.
Holy moly batman, amazing shots by everybody so far!!!
Bruce, that is killer looking sunset photo, please tell us more about it?
I tell you, WPF is reaching some dizzy heights these days…I need a Gravol!!! [swg]
As I have nothing new, this is one of my favourite images, second only to one with a J Class that I took last year. I show a Pennsy J1 causing the girder bridge to creak under its weight as the mighty engine crosses the Seneca River. Below, looking up in astonishment and wonder, are some canoeists.

Crandell, I agree wholeheartedly. We have been seeing some truly great work in here recently.
I have been trying to finish the module I am making for the Civil Engineer Certificate (Hand Laid Track requirement). Earlier this week I finished the 3 turnouts I needed (One is a siding, and two are part of a crossover track). By tonight all the track should be glued down and properly gauged.

How about I add a “rust” bucket.
No one can say you fool around with toy trains when you show them that, Robby. It’s like saying Van Gogh fooled around with paints. [tup] [tup]

**Crandell…**That’s one of the cars that I will be selling at the Greenberg Train Show. Now I hope they sell, and I have enough cars. I’m worried that they won’t sell or they will all be gone on the first day, and day two I have nothing to sell. [:-^]
Just a pic of my underconstruction 2’X4’ Z scale layout.Layout is only worked on between trainshows.
This is from the latest show last Sunday in Holland.MI.
I really like Z scale Catt, what scale is it again?
Ken
Thanks.
The details behind the picture will probably be a disappointment. The original photo was taken under normal lighting. I noticed that my lighting source (above) was illuminating the shot from slightly behind, making it a good candidate for a sunset scene. I used my photo editing software to darken the shot and add in sunset (from another picture) as a backdrop. I then shifted the picture tint to a light orange to give it the illusion of reflecting the colors of the sunset.
So in a nutshell I can take credit for the modeling, but the rest is special effects.
Ken, if I remember right it’s 1:220
Well, nothing really from me, I filmed an update video earlier this week, never got around to editing it. maybe tomorrow. Also drew a trackplan in study hall today, might get it into Atlas RTS, not sure yet though.
Still, good photoshopping skills!
Chris
Fantastic, fantasic photos everyone. The hills still have the morning haze in Spoon Yard as two engineers fire up and say “Wanna race to see who gets out of here first”.
It’s nice to see a fresh layout on WPF, good job Tom.
