WPF 12/11 - 12/13

Well I see its lunch time and no “weekend photo fun”??? I guess I will start it.

Here’s a shot over my plant. Its a older shot, but one of my favorites.

Oooooooooooooo…! [8D]

I might as well slip mine in here. An RBOX that was done up for me by Robby P. The photo doesn’t do it justice.

Aaaaah Robbie better call 911 the guy holding the lantern in your photo

has fallen down and could be hurt !

Meantime here’s a video of my H-5 approaching the yard at Handly WVA on Art’s C&O layout

Nicely done weathering, especially the truck side frames and wheels.

**Terry…**I keep forgetting to “crop” the picture. The guy with the latern really isn’t HO scale. Seems like I forgot to remove him before the picture [D)].

Nice complex, Robby, and nice job on Jeffrey’s RailBox.

Just a yard shot. DJ.

Hi from Belgium,

I begun to work on this old Nscale Heljan/Walthers six stall roundhouse last week end.

I added brick pilaster on all the corner of the backside and a stone fondation for a better look.

I also put doors on the two side walls from Grant Line.

A small repair shop was also added and completely scratchbuild.

I added also brick pilaster inside to cover the big join in the side and back walls.

I also modified the roof, yet not finished, by erasing the “Hejan details” and will cover it with tar roofing paper.

I also prepare inspection pit to put between the rails.

I hope to finish it this week end.

Here some pictures of this evening just after I finish the mortar join.

Marc

Bachman-made 0n30 Mogul on the test rollers. Pretty smooth runner - doesn’t appear to be too bad on the rails either.

This week I got around to building a 60’ center beam flatcar with an Athearn 50’ flatcar and styrene. Since this went well (took about one afternoon and evening to build) I’m going to do 2 more.

What I used:
1 1/3 Athearn 50’ flatcars
0.040 x 0.040 styrene
0.015 styrene sheet
0.060 x 0.188 styrene
1/32 x 1/8 flat brass strip (for underside support)
Proto 2000 metal wheels

White River Southern train LE-2 at the west end of Lebanon Yard.

Thanks for posting that centerbeam project!!! I was thinking of trying that myself. The parts list is great!!! Please post the finished project when you can

Looks like we’re off to another good start to the weekend.

I finished a couple of Campbell oil tanks and have them in place at the oil distributor. I need to do some more work on the ground cover, add some piping, and add some signs to the tanks.

Tom

Great work on those tanks, Tom. [8D] I really like what you have done on the structure to the left rear as well. Nice work.

I resort to a B&W this week. And overview of Seneca Falls Sub yard.

I have made another video Morning shift at Westport Terminal RR - part IV

and I’m busy with a fiddle yard for H0n3, a small one.

Wolfgang

Good morning everybody. I see great looking photos from each of you! I like the weathered RailBox. Wolfgang that’s a nice video. …DJ, that’s a great photo!.. Margaritiman, your scenes look real!

Here are two pictures of a doodlebug with trailing coach. It has just entered the mainline from the branchline at Prairie View.

Thank you! Believability is my goal.

Looking good guys.

Got some new stuff in.

The progress on the switching layou has stopped for now. The parents got a new desk so I do have a fold-up table to work with. I just have to make a plywood cover for it.

That car is WAY too clean.
