I don’t know what to say. Like every other week, I am STUNNED at the quality of work here. Some of it is by far better than some stuff I’ve seen in MR.
Over the weekend, I got to painting my SW1500. It is and Athearn Blue Box that I bought for BN and am painting for my railroad. The colors are CR blue and BN green. The entire thing is brush painted and the paint is not mixed where it’s not supposed to be. That really surprises me, considering I did absolutely zero masking. My trick? A very small brush.
I still need to get the decals (that’ll be a while, because I need to custom order them, since I can’t print in white) and paint and attach the remaining handrails, but it’s a start.
