Found a kit for this P&LE coil car that has been “lost” in that dark hole I call a basement so I thought I’d better build it before I lose it again. [:P]
Work progressing slowly on the Roundhouse 2-8-0 kit. Shaved off the cast-on headlight, generator and bell. Will replace with brass castings. Building a short vanderbilt tender for it instead of the Pennsy tender that was in the kit.

Pulled from 8mm tapes, this video chases the short-lived State of New Hampshire RDC commuter rail service between White River Junction, VT, and Concord, NH, in 1984. The WRS had just turned 1 year old, and the train we’re chasing will meet a local pulled by S4 #45, the first locomotive owned by the WRS.

You know that it’s not nice to fool people with these shots of REAL locations and imply that they are pics of your own MRR Empire. L&LOL’s. But really, I don’t know which is better, your modeling skills or your expertise with the camera to make your models look so realistic. [tup][tup]

Hello everyone. I am enjoying all of the great work posted so far.
My picture includes an F3 B-unit that I completed today. It’s part of a consist as follows F7A, F3B, F2A.

It’s been a long time sence I’ve taken overall photo’s of my layout, but I needed to update the one’s on my website so here’s a couple:
First the East end, which lacks scenic material, and has the new grade crossing. Also note that the carshop will be installed on the tracks that the UP and Conrail Dash-8 loco’s are on.
Second the West end, which has about 70% of the scenery finished. I still have to do some touch up work, especially around the scrap yard (LOTS of tall grass is needed[swg])

John, as much as I hate to do it, I feel I should say something…if you’re going to post 42 images in a row on WPF (which is not recommended because others want their work seen too), at least resize them from 1024x768 to something more manageable like 640x480! Even on high-speed internet, you’re killing my laptop! [xx(] You might try creating your own thread and having just one or two photos here with a link to your thread.

Thanks for the complement John, however I’m afraid I have to second Tyler. Not only do others want there work to be seen, but I’m sure there are some dial up users out there that like to look at WPF, and it’s not fair to them for one member to post 42 (I didn’t even take the time to count) photo’s. Also It’s only friday night and there’s still all weekend. Nice photo’s though[:(],

New power:
1941 has the endrails painted since I put a decoder in it. 1958 will have the same done when it gets a decoder.
Here’s something I pulled a bit ago. Guess which one is the P1K box, and which is the trainset LL one?
Answer, the BAR one:
I added a KD box to the frame and then filled the hole with styrene rod (really a sprue). Then drilled and tapped the hole so I could use an athearn truck.

I have been busy trying to finish up most of the work on the Bridge to Nowhere, NY on the SLOW. Here are a few shots of the bridge as it now stands (remember this is a logging line trestle and is supposed to be more than a bit scary to drive over… I will probably shore it up a bit more later) and both my oldest working loco and my newest loco. Also in the photos are my recently completed Ticky Train Group flat cars. Hope you enjoy!
