Two former BC Rail RDC cars arrived in La Grande, Oregon today. These were owned by the State of Oregon and operated between Portland and Astoria Oregon as the Lewis & Clark Explorer for 3 years. They have been purchased by the Wallowa-Union Railroad and will enter excursion service between Elgin, Oregon and Joseph, Oregon on the former UP Joseph Branch soon. They were only in La Grande for a short time, and departed about 10:30 for Wallowa, Oregon.
