WOW !! That really is unbelievable !! [:D][:D][:D]

Thanks Paul !!

Wow,

When I saw the first pictures I thought it was real 1:1 scale. The last picture and really close looking gave it away.

I like the locomotive the best though.

I also thought that the pictures I was looking at were 1:1 scale initially and that when you said “WWII modeling” that you were refering to a real-life reenactment of a battle or something involving a train. Eventually it dawned on my that these were scale models, tough. That is absolutely incredible! Just incredible!

Man - I couldn’t believe how much detail this guy has in there - is this Russian? It looks like WWII German stuff, but that’s not Deutsch!

Jim Fortner, it is German. If you look in the second photo, look at the engine’s cab. The “hawk” pictured there is a symbol for Germany. The signs are all German, as well as the tanks, trucks, half tracks, motorcycles, the people, the engine, and the rolling stock. I would like to know where the figures came from, as well as the trucks, tanks, and everything else came from. This would also be an interesting build in O gauge.

The web address .ru is Russian.

Fantastic work, I showed this thread to one of the guys I work with who is a scale modeller, (mostly planes and German vehicles). He right away said it was 1/16th scale and that the figures were “Dragon” as the maker. Said they were close to the G.I. Joes in size and go for about $20 each. and that this guy has a Lot of money invested here. A very nice set up.

Dennis

The models are 1/6 scale - not 1/16. Dragon Action Model characters are about 12 inches tall as were the old GI Joes… So a 6 foot GI in 1/6 scale would be 12 inches tall.
