This looks like it will be a great program, if I ever get the hang of it. Right now I’m trying to figure out how to
1- lay track using Atlas flex track instead of sectional, so I need to change the sectional (see screenshot below) to flex, if thats possible. And if it’s not…
2- how do I connect the curved section on the left to the straight piece on the right? The program doesn’t have half pieces of curved sections and it looks like thats what I need. If I use another full section of the 22 inch, I have too much curve. So, I’m thinking I’d attach a section of flex to the curve but I don’t know how to work with that.
Thanks for any help!

J-man,
Where you been? I think it is as simple as putting a piece of track where you want the flex to start andone where you want it to end. Then you click on each track to join. Then if you want you can delete the tracks you placed originally to locate it.
The tutorial is quite good if you haven’t done it.
Hey Chip!
I was out west for a little while, shooting pictures and sticking my head down in geysers to see where the water was coming from.
Other than that, I’ve been in and out. I’ll try your suggestions!

Without looking - gotta be Yellowstone. What a great place to visit! Jarrell, are you ears cleaner now? Unless it wasn’t obvious enough in Chip’s response, you were severely missed the last couple of weeks. Good to have you back…

To connect two end points with flex track is easy – and where Xtrk excels, I believe. Here’s how:
From the “commands” menu, select “Join” (Or select the “join two tracks” button on the tool bar. Notice that’s different than the “connect two tracks” button.)
Left click on the end of the first track.
Right click (and hold down the button) on the end of the second track. By holding the button down, you can now drag back and forth along the new piece of flex that has been inserted to adjust the radius of it, and move the curve as you drag.
Watch the status message at the bottom of the screen as you work. It will tell you the radius you’re creating, and also let you know if there is a problem connecting the two pieces.
As I’ve mentioned before, I’m a huge fan of this program.
