This was an $8 swap meet find that I used gap filling / gel super glue, gray primer, & dry brush & powders to weather plus extra parts from my scrap box.

I still remember trying to get my Black bart Mine to stick together, despite not having a clue about soldering. I think the modern approach makes these kits much more user friendly, even if you do know how to solder.
These old school kits work great with a little detail.
Even in 2015, you can drive around and find abondened buildings.
