Hi Guys ,Its come to that time where ive lerned alot!.and want to make good from past mistakes, and this fall in about a month and a half im fully terning down and redoing, anyone thinking of this also ,could be a very busy winter i have a feeling ?
No…Seeing I am not rich I do not tear out my industrial switching layouts on a whim or because of the mistakes I made…I do carry the lesions learned to the next industrial switching layout when I decided its time to REDO the layout…I use the same bench work and just REDO the track work…[:D] That BTW saves me mega $$$.
I tore down my last project, and thankfully it was only in the unsceniked mainline running stage. I too am planning for a fall time rebirth. However, I built a temporary shelf layout up to pratice little things and at least be able to run something at home. The once a week club running nights never seem long enough.
Carefully contemplate your next move and plan. Save anything you can for future use, make a list of what you learned -good /bad points and things you want to change for the better from the layout you have now.
My only expense on my new layout will be the benchwork - and the hours of sleep thinking of the new trackplan. Time well wasted.
