YES! I WON!

YES! I WON! I’m sorry about this everyone, but I am soooooooo excited about what I just got off of eBay. This is my first BIG eBay purchase, and I just want to send the guy my payment NOW so I can start running this puppy![:D][:D]

You can tell I’m a complete newbie at this eBay thing, because I am this hyped up about a simple win, but I CAN’T HELP IT! I’VE BEEN BIT BY THE EBAY BUG, AND I’M SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW![:D][:D]

I DON’T WANT TO WAIT, I WANT IT NOW!

You know, it is not good to repress your feelings. If you are excited you should let it out. You can bottle it up or it will get out where you least expect it.

Yessss, Yesss, my child… Come to the Dark Side! First an innocent win, then next you’ll be waiting up until 2:00 AM to make sure your sniping software kicks in!!

LOL yep

Scott…Great buy…Let us know how it runs…Cox 47

Cool, Freak! Awesome loco!

BTW…the seller is in my old stomping grounds…Granite City, IL. I used to go there every Tuesday night during the summer to the short track motorcycle races at Tri-City Speedway there.

Sorry…didn’t mean to reminisce here.

Rotor

Congratulations on your first win!

Nice looking engine! Good price for it.

(PS: hey, fellas, should I be the one to tell him that only UP had DD40AX’s? No? Okay, I’ll stay quiet.)

Darrell, staying quiet…for now

[}:)][}:)][}:)] Well, Now you went and did it… You’ll never have a penny to your name again… A word of advice that I’m sure others have offered… Beware of bidding wars… Don’t get suckered into one.

Enjoy the win.

wow nice ! what radius curves do you need to run that thing ?

Or that CSX never had any turbines like what was in his signature for a while.

Cool buy! ebay can get adictive.

Not sure what curves the model will handle, but I believe the prototypes were refered to as 5000 hp track straighteners.

Cheers,
George

Man you got ripped off. The b-man DD40X is a terrible running locomotive, it runs choppy as all get out and is lacking in the detail department, let the buyer beware I guess. I could name offhand about a dozen better running N scale locos you could have gotten for 76 bones

But, that PRR fantasy scheme is pretty sharp.

Nice touch, Stuckarmchairing.[V]

Having one’s bubble burst, isn’t that the second step to manhood?

Not sure I can agree about poor running - I have one of those that behaves pretty well, it’s a little noisy but not too bad, and it runs smoothly enough. They do need a little more servicing than single-motor locos as the two motors aren’t mechanically linked, so they can come out of sync and cause problems - mine has definite “sweet spots” in its speed range where both motors are turning at exactly the same speed. Planning to strip it down, clean all the gunge out, clean the commutators, reassemble and relube, to see if that cures it.

Train freak congrats, looks good!!In my sig block you will see my latest arivel to my fleet Y6B 2-8-8-2 ($77.00) and runs real good ,good low speed, and handles my 18" curves, Needs a little detail, but I can handle that.I have eight steam loco’s this arived yesterday and runs the best of the bunch,All a person has to do on E-BAY is be carefull[^][:D][2c][2c]

What is it? I can’t open that link…
Matthew

he’s got the E Bay bug now fellas!..he’ll never be the same and is gonna be REAL hard to live with from now on…LOL…chuck

Awesome! The bug bit me too a couple weeks ago. I bid on a 4-8-4 N scale for my brother and won! The price was $33.75! Now I am hooked!

Do those things bend switch points in N scale like they do in HO?
