If you don’t have respect for the mass and energy of a freight train during the first part of your life, you certainly will during the last, even if it is only 10 milliseconds. I feel sorry for the victim, her family, the train crew, and the police and firemen who had to clean it all up.
There is a spot nearby on the NJTransit Bergen main, in Garfield NJ, dubbed “Suicide Alley” because of the in credible amount of people killed there over the past several years. most seem to be suicide. It is sad that there are this many people who choose this course of action. it affects everybody, not just themselves.
how can you feel sorry for the “victim” …the only victims are the ones in the cars that arnt driving and have no controll to get the driver to stop and train crews that have to live with this for the rest of thier lives… someone that tries and beat the train on thier own free will is not and should not be labled a victim…they are the ones at fult…not the other way around!!!
