Searching E-bay,on a daily basis for all types of goodies. I recently came across six…yes six walthers rotary dumpers. Not to mention, a few walthers bascule bridges.
This time of year, model railroaders lose their minds. My wife just bought me a walthers coal floodloader, and after that I found even more train stuff on e-bay. The model train bug,has infected me in a real bad way.
To bad, the monthly bills out weight the model train finances this month. If the money was right, there would be a new rotary dumper and a bascule bridge in the mix.

I just did a little Ebay Christmas shopping myself this morning. Snipped me a TH&B GP7 and 2 Quebec & North Shore loco’s, a GP7 and a GP9. I really like Christmas shopping, lolol.
Yeah, tmee man.
You know it’s christmas when your parents give you a sheet of paper saying “What trains I want for Christmas” This happened today, and I’ve already got over $2000 worth on it!
And engine driver, welcome to the forum!

You can tell Christmas is almost here when you have to keep reminding family and friends that you really prefer to buy your own equipment for your 1925 steam era layout. Then spend hours practicing the surprised and very pleased look, “Oh wow! A Bachmann 52’ center-depressed flat car with a missile on it. Won’t that look great right behing the mogul!” Or, “Gee, how nice a Conrail 50’ boxcar!”
The fun part of course is keeping straight who gave you what so whenever they happen by you can have those items ready to roll on the layout tour. “Oh look, see, I knew that Intermodal car would be just the thing for your toy train thingy stuff.” [;)]
You know Christmas is only a few months away when the March of next year issues for magazines show up. Oh yeah, Easter stuff starts lining the shelves at various retail establishments.
