For me its the Athearn CF7s.Now,I won’t mention my other favorites from Atlas and P2K…[:D] I have other Athearn favorites but won’t mention them either.

Atlas GP38

Atlas Master Series GP-38, GP-40, and SD-35. Simply awesome!

Atlas C40-8. Can’t wait 'till the widecab version comes out![:D]

The Atlas U30C. By far the most detailed, smoothest running locomotive I have. Plus it came with a 4-digit address decoder installed!

[#ditto][#ditto][#ditto]

Proto1000 C-Liner, in CN Green & Gold.

Right now my favourite is my Proto D&H RS11 soon to be set aside for my Proto D&H PA’s

Gordon

Atlas U23B

Kato 90MAC

Kato SD90 closely followed by Proto 2000 GP60s (incredible detail, nice running), Genesis SD75i and Kato Ac4400

Martin
Québec City

P1K F3A. Creeps along through town and you can open it up out in the country, just like a car! [:D]

If I can get my hands on a P1K or P2K GP7 that runs as well, I will be in heaven.

Tom

Atlas SD24. Can’t wait to get one in UP colors![:D]

I like P2K’s FA-2 and P1K’s DL-109

For me it is a tossup between my pair of BLI Great Northern E-7’s or my Stewart FT ABBA set, also GN, that I have converted to DCC and am changing one of the B’s to total sound.

i have 4 Kato AC44CTE’s UP and they look awesome!! and run very nicely and smoothly, A+ but i also have 2 Atlas 8-40C’s and they set the bar on performance, thesee things are so smooth and so quite, the details are superb also A+, but on sheer looks, the super detailed Athearn SD50 i did takes thehonors with looks, and they run pretty damn well also, the best thing i like about these are the sliding windows! A, hope the SD45T-2’s have them i want one in UP.

This one is my favorite:

It is the ATHEARN HO Scale RTR Amtrak Intercity AMD103 Diesel

I plan to use one in my layout as a superliner train.

Here are my favorites:

Diesel: Most Dash 9

Electric: The Bachman Acela

Steam: Trix 4-8-8-4 Union Pacific Big Boy

Wow, I"m impressed with everyones choices in diesel models, My problem is, I like them all, but have to draw the line somewhere, else I would go broke buying all those beautiful locomotives, I"m pretty weak sometimes of willpower, especially when at the LHS, in the presence of all this temptation, I think you guys know what I mean, Great railroading, and happy days to all.
