[8D]if you could make your own Rail road movie what would you have
steam or diesel or both would you have hoboes & rr cops or would you be the engineer or yd master or maybe a dispatcher
me i would be the hoboe arguing with the rr cops and getting away
i would have jackie gleason as the rr cop that would be cool
(BUFORD T JUSTICE) of the UP RR
(I know your on my train mr hoboe so get off you scum bum)
there would have to be a side kick a rookie cop from the south
(hey daddy look theres a GP-40 & a SD-45T-2 pullin a train–
can we stop an watch it go by)
(you stay here and watch the train im gonna catch me a hoboe)[8D]
but joe pesci would be a good hoboe
(so youse sayin this is your train i thought you said your name was buford not Norfolk southern so this cant be your train & if youse is thinkin bout trowin me in jail i just happen to know the laws in this city)
If I could make a rr movie, it would have steam engines, set in the the OOOLLLDDDD
days, and there would be scenes with cowboys bringing in the cows to be shipped
east. Maybe some rustlers trying to steel the herd before the cowboys get the cows
to the train for loading.
I would make it a musical with Elvis as the head engineer and Richard SImmons as the Fireman, it would be a coal burning steam loco, and Elvis would be singing, so Richard could sweat it out to the oldies. [:)]
This is not Cecil B Demills Union Pacific: starring Leslie Neilson as the terminal superintendent with Jack Black, Jenna Jameson, Traci Lords as the new hires. Music
by Tobey Kieth and the Dixie chicks. Adam Sandler stars as the stuggling trainmaster.
If I were to make a train movie (not video), It would be a shure flop at the box office.
But if I were trying to make one that appealed to the general public…Accuracy would go out the window. It would have the wrong equiptment at the wrong place in the wrong era.
The actors would obviously know nothing about trains. All the rules would be broken. Nobody would be accountable for anything. It would be filled with technical errors. The soundtracks would be out of sync/just plain wrong. So on ect…

How about something about the early, EARLY days of railroading, when little beasts like Tom Thumb, John Bull, and DeWitt Clinton roamed the rails? Maybe about a “gizmo” kind of guy and his experience with the genesis of steam locomotion?
