Is there a noticeable difference in performance between 250W and 275W ZWs? I have heard conflicting reports, and I wondered if anyone can provide a definite answer. Thanks for the help.

From what I have heard it is just the way the watts were rated, differant years differant watt ratings, basically an oddity. I like the post war ZW’s better than the modern ones as everything is inside one unit, don’t have to add anything to the transformer.

Thanks Lee. I heard the same thing that Lionel just doctored the number when Gilbert introduced a bigger transformer. I hear you about the new ZWs, and I also think that the new ZW just doesn’t have the same feel that the original does.
