A retired school teacher, I am starting over in the hobby. Saved all my HO kits, rolling stock, buildings from the 60-70s. The new layout will be my 1st DCC, oh boy technology! Born n raised in AZ my love is the ATSF (riding the El Capitan) & SP. I spent al lot of hours counting freight cars during college in Flagstaff. That was more interesting than the prof’'s lectures. Home town of Phoenix had spur traffic from both Santa Fe & SP. The new layout will be a fantasy road from Phoenix to Gallup, NM, moving produce to the ATSF mainline, & Santa Fe passenger service.
