I’ve been chasing trains for over 30 years, starting out in my home town of Downers Grove IL. My job moved me around, first to Springfield MO for 10 years during the BN era, then down to McAllen TX, which was railfan limbo due to it’s lack of railroad activity. Then it was up to Ft Worth TX for 4 wonderful years; I regard Ft Worth as the best town I’ve even lived due to accessibility. Then 10 years ago it was back to Downers Grove where I currently reside and get to watch BNSF action on the triple track thru town.
