My name is Kevin . Im 38 yrs.old and have been “playing” with model trains for about 25 years now . Im happily married to a wonderful woman who I really enjoy life with . I have 4 children and she has 1 , and we are expecting so we do have our hands full . My father and I own Holte Manufacturing and I own Holte Inc . that we had inherited after my grandfathers passing . What is built by family - stays in the family . Recently I have been working on an old ex-NYC Alco RS 3 that is in my shop . Its a family project and hopefully Ill have it running by next spring . Over the past couple of years I have been into building layouts and running trains on a more serious level . I have built the icon of Fostoria known as the Sierra , and it is going through a complete restoration after a freak accident that had done some very serious damage to the plaster and scenery . It was back up and running during RailFest 2009 here in Fostoria , and the support from the public was amazing . Everyone was glad to see the Sierra back in action once again .
