I’ve been a model railroader since the mid-'50s, starting at the age of 10. I served as the host chairman for the NMRA’s National Convention in Denver in 1977 - Rocky Rails '77, which set attendance records with 3,200 conventioneers and a public show that drew over 20,000. From 1990 to 2006 I was the Editor, then Editor/Publisher of Model Railroading magazine. I’ve been a member of the Denver HO Model Railroad Club since 1974 and of the Colorado Rail Link modular group since 1991.
