I spent eight wonderful years working on the Western Pacific Railroad as a computer programmer. I was lucky enough to be envolved with the online train applications that tracked train movements, crew consists and waybill information. I took a buy out from UP in 1983, but I would love to work at a railroad again. I am a lifelong rail fan and have grandparents, uncles and grategrand parents who were railroaders; Mostly SP though.
