Born in Santa Barbara. Used to watch the SP trains roll through town in the early '60’s, passenger and freight. Have always loved trains. Moved to OR in 6-69, joined the Navy in '76 for 4 years, then joined the Military Sealift Command in 1-82, and have been going to sea ever since. I am a licensed Marine Engineer. Steam turbine propulsion is my specialty. Political correctness, quota programs and the liberal media can go to hell!!
