The BNSRy is an HO scale free lance railway started in 1991. The layout is dog bone bent into a corner. It runs 12 ft along one wall and 11 ft along the second wall. There are 2 levels. The upper loop is used for a continuous run, it has 2 locations for dropping cars. The lower section has the main switching yard. There are presently 3 fiddle yards that attach to the layout via bridges. I participate in 2 operating groups, the Junction Gang (meet at night) and the Dayliners (meet during the day). We run trains on 5 or 6 different layouts. My layout switching problem usually takes about 1.5 hours to complete, then we retire to coffee/tea and dessert.
