Orginally from Northwest Indiana, grew up in Gary and Portage Indiana. Railroad I most remember as a kid was the CSS&SB, Chicago South Shore and South Bend. I have lived in the beautiful Roanoke Valley for the last 14 years and love the area, the people and the mountains. Great train history with the N&;W, Virginian, and NS.Like post war type trains and enjoy Williams trains as great post war like runners at reasonable cost. Other hobbies include ice hockey, still play as an old and slow member of adult league.
