Welcome! You have asked several questions here–the question of your subject line (operating MTH conventional engine through a WTIU) is not the same as the question in the post (can you run separate tracks with a WTIU).
Can you use a conventional MTH engine with a WTIU? Sure, but depending on what engine you have, you may need a remote if the engine doesn’t have Bluetooth. You’ll also need a cable to tether the remote to the WTIU.
