Model railroading paid of in the real world. My Mother-in-Law’s TV broke and I could not find another to fit without going to a really small TV. I guess TV’s have changed in shape.
So I cut out the center divider of my entertainment center, built a new shelf that spanned the two sections. ON the left used to be a stack of components, which has now moved underneath in the cabinets.
I don’t think I would have even thought of kitbashing it were it not for my experiences in model railroading.

Actually, she took my Sony and put it in her black shiny entertainment center upstairs. I got the new one in the basement. Everyone is happy.
