1955 Fords finally arrive

I have been waiting and waiting for news of when at long last the 1955 Ford vehicles from Classic Metals finally arrive. I got the e-mail today and it appears only one paint job is in the first series to be released.

It will be geat to mix in some 1955 Fords, the 1955 Chevs were out for so long.

And I recall seeing those Fords being driven well into the mid to late 1960s.

I hope that means that the '60 Ford pickups are not far off!

The white and blue looks OK, but I was hoping for the light blue /dark blue tutone that was in their ads. I guess I could repaint one though.

Oh, the disappointments of modeling N-Scale. [:(]

Why couldn’t they have picked the 1956 model year, a much better looking auto?

1/87 Vehicle Club has an image of the pre-production models, plus an image of the 55 Fords on their new products page.

The '56s look alright, but the '55s are nice looking. The real question is why didn’t they pick the 1950 model year (like they said they would years ago), a really cool looking auto?

What is the msrp supposed to be [?]

Never pay MSRP, M. L. Klein will probably have them for around $10 give or take a buck.

10 dollars seems high for a vehicle, I will have to wait till they hit eBay.

Actually ML Klein will be the cheapest price you’ll find. EBay prices are usually closer to full retail.
