Oh man! I sold a bunch of those some months ago. I think they were made by Planet Toys. They were available at Wal-Mart for a short time.
There seems to be no end to a 1964 Dodge van, but I did find this:

Somebody is out to make some easy money. Not even Walthers charged that much for those vans.
I see them at the odd show I go to and can usually pick them up for under 5 bucks. The same company also did some Ford Econoline vans I have. I’ve got a few of each and they remind me a lot like the Malibu cars. Same packaging, same twist holder for the base and same price.
$5 each? I paid no more that $1 for the ones I had. Some I got for 50¢ and that was new at Wal-Mart. And that’s what I sold them for in bulk. Probably explains why they were snapped up so fast.
Jeffrey, up here in Canada most cars like that go for around 5 bucks with that type of detail at the shows. The Wild Cherries Walmart had a few years ago were 2.99 but to be honest they didn’t compare to the Malibu type stuff. Boley trucks are less then 10 bucks and the Norscot trucks with Cat loads are 15 bucks. You can get a lot of Trucks N Stuff transports for 15 bucks up here too. Trident stuff is expensive as well as Atlas cars and trucks. 10 bucks, sometimes a little less is the asking price for that stuff. Do you remember the REEL RIDES? If you can find the 70 GTO, 70ish Chevy pickup or the 77 Trans Am expect to pay at least 15 bucks. When they first came out I drove down to New York and picked up about 40 of each one. I got everything they had on the shelf, lol. They were never released in Canada and are hard to find. I sold probably two thirds of them right off the layout at the shows I attended with my old club. I still have people asking me for them but I’m keeping what I got left. I even had a guy trade me a VIA Rail P42 Athearn locomotive for 50 bucks and two pickups, lol. If you ever come across a Simpsons or Eatons Athearn Ford truck pick it up and put it on Ebay. They go for anywhere between 40 and 100 bucks, just for a single truck. I’ve got a few of those but I got them when they were first released and they were only a small run done and are very rare. There you go, a little history lesson on the price of cars in Southern Ontario.
