Has anyone installed a crossing on their layout using O-27 3-rail train track and ho scale slot car track?I am thinking of putting the two together on my layout but would like to fix a crossing where the train and slot car tracks meet. Has anyone got any diagram information or seen this done?
My son & I are working on this now, with LifeLike track. It’s not easy, we have wrecked some slot car track cutting it. The trick we have stumbled on so far is to remove the slot car track power rails before making the cuts(in a power mitre saw). Also, it looks like crossing at an angle may be easier than at 90 degrees. I’ll post back if we get to it anymore any time soon.

I haven’t seen anything like that as of yet. A crossing for HO trains and slot cars is available. The closet thing to O would be the K-Line Superstreets system. Otherwise, one would need to created as previously mentioned. BTW, NICE BEL-AIR!!!
If this may help you for diagram or other info a few months ago there was an article in CTT about an American Flyer S gauge track & O gauge crossing.
To me H.O. cars look out of place with O gauge trains. Target had a set of 1:43 scale electric race cars for sale around Christmas, maybe they still have one or two for sale.

Modern(~1972-on) HO slot cars are actually 1/64 scale, or S Gauge. They look fine with traditional Lionel “O”, especially well with O-27 & Scout equipment.

I have many feet of HO slot track. I plan to modify the cars by putting 1:43 scale bodies on the motor chassis of the HO and that should make them fit in with the size of my 0-27 train nicely.
Lionel made a crossing track for 027 and their “Standard” (large) slotcars. They also made one for HO track and HO slotcars. Altas made one too.
