Takes fun outta building it too, I got over 100 “G” scale engines alone, plus a HUGE !!! “O” scale collection to-boot, more then 2500 foot of stainless “G” track and everything, to much to name…an I got about half that in all of it.
That’s no fun…even with all the experimental headaches an all to build it yer self…I guess that’s fuel mark-up…
This guy is a custom builder. If you have to ask “how much”, you can’t afford it. Most of the railroads I’ve seen him build, are for millionaires ONLY Money is definately no object!
Yeah, I ask how much cause I get 1 check in. I am a POOR country boy but you don’t see him do any work for other members that don’t have MONEY. “I love my job” oh yeah I bet! Want to do the longest train…all that is, is promo…nothing else and yeah I wish I had the money for a car he could have used!!! Is is greed? or what? Business? Like to hear HIM only. Cause this ole country boy dam sure ain’t no millionair.
Yeah, An lots of “CUSTOM” home builders are also looking for work to do NOW. Looks more like an “I need something to do now”, ADD…Hey more power to him, if he can continue to find’em…AC or DC ???
The same has been said about the Ritz in London regarding their afternoon teas[(-D]
Maybe he, and others in the same line of busines, should set their sights on The Dakotas where some lucky guys have struck it rich it seems - shades of The Beverley Hillbilies? [C):-)]
Mind you, with all the maintenance assosciated with large railroads I think I will stick with what I have got.
Truth be known love you or Jack to help me so I learn and learn different parts to G gauge. No one around here does it! But still no train shop building up yet and I am NOT going to build till it gets in and don’t have to roll over the track.
Wow–that’s a shocking amount of dough for 400 feet. He does nice stuff, but the pleasure for me is designing and building it myself. Even if I had that money I’d feel sort of odd having somene just build me a railways
