Just had another thought…if he builds my shead, what 30x30, and water feature with some of my track here and his…whoooooooooooo hey I only make 1 check a month,~sniff~ but I can dream.

T man

Is that the “longest train” guy? Did they do it? Did anyone get their cars back? Just curious.

Boy!!! if I had $125,000, I could have a really cool ,large RR. Its hard to believe some folks can hand over that kind of cash… its taken me 13 years and many a weekend jobs to get this far.

No, they will try again in Oct. they did not have enough man/woman power to do it.

Marty and Brian.

I think you are both in the constrction business; maybe you should take up building other folks railroads. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ [(-D]

Incidentally Mrty, I was reading on a Yahoo Group (Colorado interest) of Soda Ash trains which haul well over a 100 cars. Someone said the most they had counted was 186… [wow]

I think I would have a job finding space for that many on my rails here.

For $125,000 i could buy a lot more than 400ft. of track and buildings and bridges and ROLLING STOCK and have the fun of building the railroad . Ben

400 feet for $125K ? musta bought his track from Aristo.[}:)][:-,][X-)][alien][D)][(-D]

Yes, that’s him. No, they didn’t come close. They’re was much discussion of it over on LSOL. I stayed out of it since my dealing with “the railroad gal” over here left me with a less than favorable impression. They even had a live stream you could watch online. They used a Locolinc set up but had quite a few inexperienced operators. Not sure of the status of the cars. He has a half page ad in the new GR about retrying in October and asking for help. So go and sign up!

Actually, I’m working on a couple of garden railroad projects now. I’ll post a few pics when there’s more to show.

-Brian

Sorry Ben. Your $125,000 does not include buildings, engines or any rolling stock.

Can not think why I need to say anything but think his footers are creet, track, lodging, food, gas to where ever you might be, 10 yr no questions ask, water feature (what type not sure), I know it is for the rich because I dead broke. Wrose then all ya’ll!

Best thing is to ask a customer of his is it worth it.

Like to know if the train is on you tube???

On the main photo, look in the lower right corner.

At first I thought it was the guts of an old automobile thermostat, but when I blew it up, it ain’t.

What IS that?

Nice exposed wires across the track from it, too.

I think that’s the little photo symbol ebay sticks on it pics that you’re seeing Dave.
