going over 100 for sure is beyond stupid
Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t wish for any train crew to have to go through an accident of any kind. That being said, wouldn’t this be classified as natural selection…you know…thinning out the herd? I mean really, if they’re too stupid to live, then why should they?

What the heck is wrong with some people these days?? Why in the heck would you ever and I mean ever decide to play “train surfing” on an electrified line with overhead catenary lines runing at 11,000 Volts or more?? The bottom line is this shouldn’t even be done on a “Non” electrifed line, it shouldn’t be done on any line!!
If these people wanted to do some real surfing or experience a real adrenalen (sp) ru***hey need to go over to Hawii (sp) and surf some 40ft waves.
Now if that happened somewhere else CSX would have there***so quick

I suppose you could also have a “sweeper” tower. A heavy (~300-500 lbs) bar on chains that is about 6" from the roof height of the train would knock them off. Just string that around the catenary lines…THUMP!

I use to stand pretty close to the tracks when I went railfanning until a 60mph freight started throwing ballast and brake shoes at me!
