A Day With The Des Moines “Tramp”

Very nicely done. I could almost hear the brakeman calling for the “3 steps” on recoupling after the runaround. The openess of the scenery was very well planned out. Are we to assume that the town has passed a “no horn” ordinance?

Great opening shot of a very believable scene. Modeling is superb. Everything is just right.

very nice and awesome… also background scenery awesome as well, what scale is this???

Wow. Without a doubt the most realistic model railroad action video I’ve seen. Well done.

Wow! What a layout! Well done!

Even in a quite zone you have to at least turn the bell on.

Congratulations. Excellent video and higly detailed scenery of the Northwest suburb of Des Moines; the intersection photos blend well and look exactly like the real locations, including the QT on the Northeast corner of 100th and Douglas. It’s great seeing Central Iowa represented again on Model Railroader and I am looking forward to more. Is James McNab from the Des Moines area?
Thank you.

Great camera work. A great video.

Excellent. A mundane day looking (and sounding) so realistic. Great modelling.

That’s the best I have seen or heard. Excellent!!!

Thanks. Very nice work.

GREAT modeling!!!

Beautiful

looks real nice job

Very nicely done! I enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing!

THANK YOU for shooting a video with the locomotive actually running at a realistic, “scale” speed !!! Nice modeling and a very nice video !!!

Great video, I grew up on the west side of Des Moines. Very good modeling. Last time is was in Des Moines those tracks looked very bad, probably about a 10mph speed limit.

Wonderful Scene where the crossing gates come down. Really enjoyed the detail of your layout and the scenes you chose. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic recreation of an actual area. The scenery was very realistic.
