Quote from The web-site.

A sad, sad story. We’ll be praying for Mr. Elwood’s family.

Very sad indeed, the joy and relief to win the battle with cancer only to later have the cure take your son. I know the pain, my wife’s stage 4 cancer was too advanced for the Chemo to allow her to survive more than 13 months.

My prayers are with you and your family.

Indeed a young age to pass away at. 26 is too young. I don’t much mind that I’m headed that way myself, I’ve had a good life. He didn’t even get a chance to enjoy his.

I am sorry, George. May your son rest in peace. And may the grace of God, which passes all understanding, be upon you and your family.

Prayers for all of the family in this time of great loss.

A great loss indeed. I will continue to pray for George and his family.

We all expressed our prayers for him in the previous thread , and we do it again. Sad to lose a life at such a young age.

We are bring my mother-in-law home this week to die. Also cancer. Were fixing up her room right now to give her a cheerful place to go in peace.

Sorry to hear this. Some dark days ahead for you. I’ll keep her and you in my thoughts.

My heart felt sympathy goes out to George and his family and may God bless and comfort George and his family in this saddest of times…

Especially sad to hear of such a loss - George’s site has been one of the best, and I’ve used it many times in the past. George, you and your family will be in my prayers. [angel]

Blessings and peace be with you,

Jim in Cape Girardeau

A truly sad thing. The thoughts and prayers of my family go out to George.

On behalf of my family, our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Elwood and family in this most difficult and sorrowful time.

George has certainly been through a lot. One of the great aspects of this hobby is the opportunity to retreat to it from life’s tribulations.

We also extend our thoughts and prayers to George and his families. He’s one of the best people I’ve never met…yet I feel like I know personally.
