A Positive Experience

I am usually ready to start ranting as quickly as the next guy, but, i wanted to tell you about a positive experience I had recently.

I sent an email to aristocraft/ polk’s hobbies and asked about having a ten year old T/E remote control unit repaired since one of the push buttons was sticking in a down position. they quickly replied and gave me instructions on where to mail the unit and said that type of repair usually runs about 30 bucks.

i sent it to them and just got it back the other day repaired and ready to go. they enclosed an invoice for the 30 dollars and trusted me to pay them after i received the item.

i thought that most unusual in today’s business environment in that they trusted me to pay them after the fact, especially since I don’t have an account with them nor have i ever ordered anything from them before.

That is a bit refreshing in today’s world of pre-ordering and 30/40 dollar freight cars.
