The Pittsburgh Post Gazette reports that an accident happened around 4 am, today. It appears that one crewman lost his life, although no official confirmation of his status has been given. No information on cause of collision is available, yet.
Trains Newswire today carries a story: Engineer(35 yrs senority) of train 2 side swiped an inbound train (approx 11 cars back from engine) at an area of a bridge near the steel plant’s rail entrance.
Apparently, the reason for the accident is under investigation. Article alludes to possible medical reason on part of deceased engineer(?).
