What makes the list of people Ackman wants on the board qualified? Oh, that’s it; one is a restructuring specialist. I see where this is going. Good-bye 2816 and Holiday Express. And why hold the meeting in Toronto? CP headquarters are in Calgary. Is it because there is more support for Ackman from financial folks in Toronto than there would be in CP’s backyard?

If Ackman was so upset with CP management he should not
have bought that stock. It’s just corporate rading again. He could have used the money to buy Prudhoe Bay trust stock and earned a nifty 7 % though dividends alone plus any appreciation.

I know a CN engineer who hated Harrison and is very happy that he’s gone.

Ackman needs to follow the example of Buffet’s purchase of the BN.

If CP sells the D&H, I hope the buyer is interested in taking the #2816 with the deal.

The main problem CP has is its francise. They should look at the
Iowa Interstate and KCS.

Harrison was handed a big dept free Railroad paid for by Canadian Taxpayers, so it was soon profitable. Canadian Pacific built itself and pays its own debts. It had a bad winter 2010 due to heavy snows. C.P.R. is well managed with loyal, efficient crews and is moving ahead as it is. Harrison alienated many customers and train personnel. Let CPR move ahead as it is.
