That first photo is very cool.
That second photo shows a decrepit scene.
B&W photos hide a lot. The painted portion of the depot looks fine in the 2nd photo. The roof in the first photo could be and likely was in the same condition as the second.
Conway is only a few miles from the coast (at Myrtle Beach) so Iām not surprised at the deterioration of standing-seam metal roofing.
But I think the building under that roof had either been renovated or reasonably well kept.
So that color photo is not as bad as it looks?
Or does it simply look no worse than the black and white photo if it were colorized?
