acryl paints/water based

Hi ,I´m Christian from Germany,

can me someone give advice how to remove dry acryl paint/water based of a model railroad plastic body without destroy them?

Hot Water, not so hot as to warp the plastic,

A stiff toothbrush

Elbow grease

and patience

Lots of luck

pine sol or some other non-solvent based cleaner

I use a stripper called Chameleon. http://www.chameleonproductsonline.com It comes in both liquid and gel forms. I prefer the gel.

I’ve had good luck with Isoprpyl Alcohol, also known as IPA or Isopropanol. I use the 91% variety, which is commonly available at Pharmacies here in the US. I’m not certain what variety or percent of alcohol you can find in Germany, but the higher the alcohol content, the better.
