Adding passengers to 60' MTH Streamliners

Has anyone “added” passengers to cars with interior seats but without silhouetted windows? I believe MTH has an unpainted set for$30 but is there another source for pre-painted ones? What adhesive is preferred? I was thinking of clear silicone, shoe-glue, goop, etc. I just got an MTH Alco PA (30-2150-1) and 4 MTH 60’ Santa Fe stremliners. Always wantedone, so I got the Santa Fe (warbonnet) to go with my trusty 675/6466 and I’ll have to say it sure runs nice! I use an LW Txfrmr.

I’m a beginner but still think Christmas NEEDS an O-gauge in the room!

I bought the MTH 120 piece figure set and painted them myself. I have the 70’ streamlined passenger cars in N & W and Southern RR and put the “passengers” into them. You can get seated figures from Circus Craft (I believe thats the name) too. I used a small craft type hot glue to hold the figures in. You can get the glue guns cheap at Walmart. The glue will not hurt the cars or figures, it will peel right off if necessary.
One good piece of advice I can give is to “soap” the screws that hold the shell to the frame before reinstalling the shell. All you have to do is get an old bar of soap and rub the threads with it.
Welcome to the forum, good luck.

I found a solution but nobody seems to know what the delivery is. Check out K-Line part K-42301. I’ll probably bite the bullet and spend some time painting them like you did…what paint did you use?
