Saw the Agawa CanyonTour train (stopped) southbound on the CN tracks in Appleton, Wisconsin this morning. CN 105 was on the head end of at least 10 or 12 cars that I could see. Does anyone know where this train was headed? I went back later, but it was gone. Lots of track work going on in both Appleton and Neenah. Any information would be appreciated. First time I have seen this train.

There was an item on the Trains News Wire recently that the Tour Train was going to be repainted, so my wild guess is that it might be headed to Horicon or one of the other car shops in the region which specialize in that kind of work. But I’ll certainly defer to someone with more knowledge of the Tour Train’s current operations, any possible CN special trips with it, or the car paint shops in that area.
