Would be interesting to know the previous “excess casualty liability limits” before this increase, as an index of how crude transport increases risk for the railroads. Safety specialists, it’s your hour to shine.
That’s fine and dandy, but doesn’t help the smaller railroards that can least afford a catastrophic derailment.
