The cost of a steel track pin seems to range between 30 cents and 60 cents which seems ridiculously expensive.
Is anyone familiar with a cheap source or better yet a way to buy longer lengths which can be cut as needed?
As far as I can tell, these track pins are nothing more than a thin strip of metal.
Thanks.
Rich
Portlines, 15 cents each. 30 cents was for insulated pins.

Thanks, Jim.
I missed that when I looked at the Portlines site.
I saw the item a few lines up the page where the pins were 12 for $3.00, or 25 cents apiece, but that includes the original package which I sure don’t need.
Does anyone rely on homemade pins?
Rich
Have you tried Gargraves steel track pins? They are the same dimensions as the A.F. S gauge pins. Last I checked they were about $2.85 for 12 pins.
