i have the consist of the 13 car, 15 car and the 17 car passenger set… i have been looking all over the internet but i can not find anywhere that sells the cars i need to put these together does anyone know where i can get them from
Those cars were customized from former railroad cars whose original owners are unknown to me. I doubt any manufacturer will ever make accurate models of them due to the limited interest. Therefore, you are probably going to have to scratchbuild them yourself or repaint cars that are close to the window spacing on the real thing.
I purchased, a couple of years ago, 3 Rivarossi sets that they made and renamed the cars. I also purchased 2 Athearn P42 Amtrak phase IV. They lease power from Amtrak. More cost effective than the upkeep on the E8’s. I contacted their marketing department and they gave me a list of the types of cars with names but no numbers for security reasons since 9/11. I will search for my list and try to get it to you.
