Has anyone taken this trip before? I am considering riding from Savannah to Charleston for the day and then back on the Amtrak, I have looked on Amtrak’s website and noticed that one leaves Savannah in the morning and returns sometime in the evening. If anyone has ridden this route before how was the trip? Are the stations in decent locations? I am currently going to school in Statesboro, GA and think that this would be a fun day or weekend trip.
