I think this is such a grand idea[:D] They could rotate newly equipt cars onto Trains 5 and 6 and test and train crew out here in Nevada! Wow, that would put snap in my train pics[:)]

i have to agree with mr dharmon…
what amtrak really needs is death ray shielding!!
[:D] Too funny… no brakes & a missle system.
There was a previous post about cows on the tracks… [dinner]
Before you no it they’ll be armor plateing the acela.
Why would you need brakes–just fire a missile to slow down.
Amtrak missle + Cow on the tracks= Pre cooked ground beef…
Now them good eats![:D][dinner][:D]
Probably the closest to eating food on Amtrak that’s actually made in the dining car [:)]!
[:D][:-,]shoot at a bakery for some buns too![dinner]
[:D][:-,]shoot at a Starbucks… because there’s just too [censored] many of them!!! [xx(][B)][xx(][}:)][xx(]
We all know how Amtrak works… They ask for enough funding to get their missie defense system and in return they only get enough funding for a squirt gun.

Then congress tries to float a bill to at least get a gernade launcher. But the senate kills it and recommends that they get a rifle. Then the pres steps in and says they should get nothing but says they will get a hand gun as an emergency measure. But Amtrak says a handgun will not cut it and thay will call it quits and liquidate if that’s all they get. So a bunch of lobbyists start whining for there missles. Then a new bill hits the floor for the original missles and in the end they get a few gernade launchers so they can just squeek by till it starts all over again next year.[(-D]
Amtrak just got voted 3 Billion dollars that could have been saved and given back to the taxpayers.
