Good see Amtrak geeting the job done despite adverse weather conditions.
Amtrak must accentuate the positive in its weather-delay coverage. Every time flights are delayed or canceled due to marginal weather that has little or no impact on train service, get the word out!
I like the comment by one passenger about Amtrak crews keeping passengers informed about delays, something that has been spotty at best in my experience. Keep people informed about what’s going on: They may not be happy about the news, but at least they understand the problem and can think ahead. Keep them in the dark and they get REALLY unhappy!
