I took this yesterday if you wanted to see the latest makeup of stack trains to head east on the Transcon. I also took a domestic intermodal video but it will probably take until tomorrow to upload it.
Okay, here is a second video, of an Eastbound Domestic Intermodal train leaving Los Angeles. It is kind of amazing how the 53 foot container is taking over, and the over-the-road carriers making up most of the consist.
I havent been out foaming for a while, due to the low volume of trains and continually being harassed for having a camera…but traffic levels are still pretty low.
