ED> EXCELLENT LAYOUT. WELL THOUGHT OUT AND GREAT FOR KIDS YOUNG AND OLD. MY COMPLIMENTS. HAPPY R.R.ING
Thanks to a very good Grandpa. You have made your granddaughter light up when operating the railroad. What a great way to show her you care.
Kind regards

very nice Thanks for sharing Roger
What a well thought-out and fun railroad. Wish I had one like it!
My comment is only positive… very nice railroad andi ndeed a joy for the grandchildren. I like the cranes and their functions and functioning into the railroad labour… Just one question: why are you driving on the left…? the locs all look like Austrian or German types and there they drive on the right ! The countries where they drive left in Europe are: Belgium, France and Switzerland all the other countries drive right. But don’t border if you like to drive left…
its your playground…

Thanks Jan for your kind comments. I’m very sorry I haven’t replied earlier. I should check this site more often! The rolling stock is indeed German as everything is LGB, but I chose to have them drive on the left, as they do in England. I am English and have tried to base the scenery on England, particularly the Cornish fishing village. The backdrop is rural England. Of course many of the buildings are Pola, so it’s all a compromise!
